Hair stress!!!!
Now, I need to change my hair pronto!! It is getting a tad silly now! Here is the most recent pic I have with my hair down. I hate myself in this pic but it shows the rubbishness of my hair off well ..... (that is my lovely fella too :-) )
As you can see, it is quite long (I have recently dyed it darker) but I really am getting fed up with it. It is naturally curly and so was thinking of chopping it up a bit and having some choppy layers thrown in with a big side sweeping fringe. Something a bit like this .....
With enough layers and a bit of hair spray my hair could sustain this cut. What do you think?

Mini Make-Up Spree
I popped into town yesterday with my lovely make up buddy and we went on a mini spree.
First off we popped into Marks and Spencer where I picked up this gorgeous nail varnish from their Essential Colours range called "Jade". It cost only £2.50 and as I had been wanting a green polish for a while now I thought I would give it a go.
I was really quite pleasantly surprised when I applied this. You need two good coats to create a good coverage as it does not go on as creamy as some more expensive polish's, but it does dry very quickly and boasts "quick drying" and "non chip" on the back. We shall have to see about the non chip but so far so good.
We then hot footed it down to Boots to spend our £5 off No7 vouchers before they expired. I needed a new mascara and was instantly drawn to the display showing off the new Exceptional Definition Mascara (£12). This mascara has a clever wand where you apply the mascara with one side, then use the smaller brushes on the other side to smooth out the clumps and seperate the lashes and then on the tip are some extra bristles so you can get to those annoying lashes that are hard to reach with a regular wand.
The brilliant thing about buying this mascara (at the moment) is that you also get a free eyeshadow pallette.
The colours are gorgeous, very shimmery and perfect for the autumn season. Yyou can mix and match all four colours (my friend made me up with one eye sporting one mix and the other sporting another haha) and I wore the gold (1st on left), green (2nd from left) and brown (3rd from left) out last night as well as the mascara and by the time I got home there was no smudging or creasing on the eyelids.
Within the pallette you also get this very cute eyeshadow brush. I am desperately in need of some new brushes so this was a very pleasant suprise when I found it!
And as I had a £5 off voucher I got both for £7!! Bargain!

Prehistoric Time Keeping
My lovely boyfriend bought me a stunning watch from Fossil for my birthday last year. I had only had it a week when I lost it at a motorway services (I cried ... a lot!!). Much to my delight he bought me another one for Christmas :-)
Now you may think that was a happy ending to a sad story but alas no, more heartache was to come!
The strap of the watch has little wooden circular bits that are attached to the metal segments of the strap and unfortunately they began to "pop" off one by one .....
Where these wooden pieces have come off there are little sharp metal pins that are sticking out of the strap and scratch everything they come into contact with so I am unable to wear my beloved watch! Some of the wooden bits fell off when I was not aware and are now lost. I have searched on line to see if I can find replacements but so far I have only met dead ends. I think I am going to have to call Fossil direct :-(
Does anyone else have this watch and have experienced this problem? If so, have you found anywhere to buy replacements wooden bits???

Mad about Soap and Glory!
Ok, here goes for my first post.
This one is on some products from Soap and Glory, a range of bath and beauty products that are gorgeous and with quirky titles like "Mist You Madly", "I-Foam" and "Clean On Me" you cannot help but full in love with the range.
I bought the hair repair mask and the Mist You Madly body mist (both smell lush) when a friend recommended them to me.
I was instantly hooked and could not wait to get my hands on more! Fortunately I did not have to wait until pay day as I won the "2 minute rinse contest" on the Soap and Glory website and received a pack of goodies...
The Clean On Me Shower gel and I-Foam are excellent, both leaving your skin feeling incredibly smooth after use (I tend to apply them to a sponge and then lather myself so I get an exfoliation too). The Shea Butter Hand Scrub is amazing and the item I am most impressed with out of my prizes!
As you can see, on first inspection, it actually looks a little icky but it smells so lovely that I didn't hesitate getting my fingers stuck. The texture is very grainey due to the sea salt, sugar and grapeseed extracts, which give it its exfoliating quality. It also contains almond oil (I love almond). You take a walnut sized amount and rub it between your hands to allow it to do its work and then you wash it off with warm water. It really does leave your hands soft and smelling stunning. I use it in the morning and before bed and even after a few days my hands are feeling softer. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes their mitts to feel fabulous
